These are some photos of a friend's little boy. I just sat in his room while he played and caught candid shots of him in his element. I just love some of his expressions and doesn't he have the most gorgeous blue eyes!

About Me
First and foremost, I am a mother and a wife. I have a 2 year old son and have been with my husband for over 4 years. We recently move to Morgan City from Virginia, but we are originally from New Orleans.
I attended the University of New Orleans and have a Bachelor of General Studies Degree. I started my Master's degree in counseling, but decided that I would prefer to pursue a career in photography. I have always been interested in art and design of any and every kind. I have been a designer at Digital Scrapbook Place for 3 years, where I design and sell digital scrapbooking graphics. Digital Scrapbook Place is currently the largest digi-scrapping company on the internet.
Photography is something that I believe goes hand in hand with scrapbooking and that's where my passion began. A beautiful scrapbook page can be otherwise looked over if the photos do not "pop" from the page. Every design that I create begins and ends with the photos.

Details
Session Details:
All sessions will be on location either at a home with nice natural lighting or an outdoor setting within 30 miles of Morgan City, Berwick, Bayou Vista and Patterson. Travel fees apply to locations outside of this area. I will take time to capture natural expressions and relationships with your family.
I encourage you to bring a favorite toy, blanket or other special item of your child's. When photographing children, I like to engage them in their everyday activities in a setting where they are most comfortable. I enjoy capturing their natural expressions and curiosity as they explore the world around them. Each session will last about 1-2 hours. As a mother of a toddler, I understand the temperament of children. If you child is having an "off" day, we can reschedule the shoot. Feedings and diaper changes are expected and planned for.
Clothing Suggestions:
Newborns and infants look so sweet and perfect with no clothes, its perfection at its finest. If you choose to have clothes for you baby, simple, comfortable clothing is best. A plain white onsie, t-shirt or even just a diaper is fine. Simple and comfortable also applies for older children. Solid, logo-free clothing looks best and is less distracting. For family or engagement photos, coordinated, solid clothing is recommended. There is no need to "match," if you choose not to, coordinating colors are fine. You can bring changes of clothes if you'd like.
