Another Miss "C"

This Miss "C" actually came along for the other Miss "C"'s shoot on Thursday, so we had already met. We were trying to do this shoot really quick because it was predicted to rain and I was really hoping the wind wouldn't be as bad. Thankfully, the rain held out and the wind was pretty calm, so our shoot went really well. These are some of my favorites, sorry that most of them are your "serious" face, but I think you pulled it off well :-)

Miss "C"

Miss "C"'s session was definitely a challenging one since the wind did not want to work with us. We made our way along Front street, trying to find some little nooks and crannies where the wind couldn't find us, but it wasn't easy! Overall, though, I think the photos came out great, I hope you like them!

Senior - Miss "D"

Miss "D," her mom, dad and I met up on a beautiful Sunday morning to take her Senior pictures. They had a couple of unique ideas for shots, which is always fun and we even braved the train track in between trains - which apparently, they come often on Sunday mornings! I'm just about done with the proofs from this session, but wanted to put up some previews for you guys! Enjoy!

Miss "B" - Senior

Miss "B" and I met at her uncle's beautiful house in Berwick and followed up with some fun on Front Street. It was a nice, warm morning and perfect lighting for shots on the bayou. "B" and her whole family were all so nice, I really enjoyed this shoot!

Wow!

That's all I can say about this booth that my friend's Corine and Beebe had at the Bob Walker Wedding Show. You can read about it and see it in their blog. I've been friends with Corine and Beebe for so long and I've been able to watch them and their business grow and I couldn't be prouder of them. On top of that, it is to them that I owe quite a lot! They have been helping me along my photography journey for a couple of years now, from helping me select the right equipment, answering business questions I have, to letting me tag along with them at weddings so I can get experience in that department. They are amazing photographers and amazing people and they really deserve their success! If you or someone you know needs a fantastic (and very attentive) wedding photographer in the New Orleans (and surrounding area), be sure to check out StudioTran! They also photographed my own wedding last May :-)

Ok, and here's the booth I was talking about, I wish I could have seen it in person!

Another Miss "J"

"J" and I met at Lawrence Park for a Senior session, then headed over to Front Street. She and her mom were great to talk with and it was a really nice day, just a bit hot! Here are a few previews of "J's" session!

Seniors!! Blog Contest

Ok, I'm calling out all of my Seniors! If you have taken (or will be taking) Senior portraits with me, email me - jamie@jamieheylphotography.com - and let me know which of your photos is your favorite. I will post all of them on my blog and you can send all your friends and family over to the blog to vote on your photo. The winner of the Senior photo contest will receive 100 custom graduation announcements!

In order to get the announcements on time for graduation, this contest is only open to Seniors who will have had their photos taken by April 16. I apologize for this, but it will take a couple of weeks for the announcements to come in and I know you'll want them before graduation!

So come on Seniors, email those photos! I'll post them all by April 16 and they will be up for one week before the winner is decided.
